Spiderman: No Way Home (Trailer)

 The Spiderman: No Way Home’s trailer was leaked the day before yesterday thus I think because of that marvel decided to publish the official trailer as well. Not gonna lie but there were rumours were going around that there wasn’t going to be a trailer because it didn’t come out for so long but thanks to the almighty [Person who leaked the trailer] the production company was probably threatened, and they officially released the trailer. Although, that might have been a marketing ploy or something… I don’t know, all I know is that THE TRAILER IS OUT!!!! (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WgU7P6o-GkM)

Spiderman is probably my favourite superhero character (specifically Spiderman: Miles Morales but ok). I wouldn’t mind trying something new out on his film because I can talk about it for days (which explains why this post is longer my normal review posts). Anyways onto my thoughts about it:

In the previous movie AKA Spiderman: Far From Home after the entire Mysterio fight in the post-credit scene, it showed Peter Parker’s identity is revealed and his life literally fully flips and everything goes south from there. In addition, everywhere he went, he was harassed for killing Mysterio and when he went to school literally everyone was clicking pictures of him while he was in extreme embarrassment.

So, the trailer starts with Peter and MJ on a rooftop just contemplating life decisions and everything that has happened so far, while MJ reads the newspaper talking about random shit people and the media think about spiderman. Then random stuff happens basically recapping what happened in the old movie but then a super cool thing happens. It really caught my eyes and that was the poster in time frame 0:39 saying ‘Devil in Disguise’ and a peter’s face drawn with devil horns, this could be a hint-hint towards the man we have been thinking of since the first Avengers movie AKA the one and only Mephisto but eh… I am not going to get my hopes too high.

In addition, after the main school scene (0:57), in the end, peter looks up and see’s Dr Strange Halloween decoration? (it looked hilarious) from which he obviously thought of the man himself and went to him into the Sanctum Sanctorum but weirdly there was snow everywhere which could suggest they left some portal door open? I really don’t know, but when Dr Strange comes down he is wearing a hoodie with a windbreaker, while wong was cleaning the snow up.

Moreover, from time frame 1:15 – 1:18 minutes peter is being shown running in a food shelter with a new suit on with the black body and gold mystic stripes which might be a Dr Strange version of the Spiderman suit which looked sick. The suit may be designed to change into any of his previous spider-man suits as well because in many different scenes he is shown in different suits.
Anyways, then peter asked Strange if he could make everyone forget he is a spiderman and when they go to the basement to do the spell. When the spell started, for some reason Peter starts blabbing with second thoughts, tampers with the spell (1:45) and the whole spell goes south with the entire fabric of earth ruined. I mean Spiderman is supposed to be smart and a smart person would know if the Sorcerer Supreme tells you to shut up while doing a spell, you SHUT UP! Because now the entire world is in chaos :). Also, at 2:22, Strange does that weird chest push thing that the Ancient One did to him in Dr Strange 1 to bring out his astral body, but I don’t know why that’s important but looked cool and interesting. 

Furthermore, the best scene came in the end. At time frame 2:29 we hear a cackle from suspected the Green Goblin because then his Pumpkin Bomb rolled up and that was just astonishing. Although one thing I hope marvel does is re-design Green Goblin’s appearance cause in the older movies he looks like a robot, in my opinion, he should look more goblin-y.

After the green goblin scene at 2:43 minutes, Dr Octopus SHOWS UP! But for some, he says “Hello, Peter” which is confusing because Dr Oc has seen the other Peter AKA Toby McGuire and not tom holland. So maybe there are scene cuts and shows peter in the trailer but in reality, it’s the other spiderman, and if that’s true then the rumour of Andrew Garfield and Toby McGuire in the movie is TRUE but we won’t know for sure until the movie releases.

Anyways, This was an awesome trailer, and it was just really mind-blowing to see and like I really can’t wait to see the movie which releases on December 17^th.
